Blooms

I started this blog a whole year ago, and didn't think I would still be doing it by now. Still, life is returning in more than one sense, and restrictions are being eased as the plants come back into leaf and flower and the insects start appearing. It seems like a good time to finish. This will be the last post here (unless I decide to do the odd one occasionally...). I hope anyone looking at these images has got something from them. It has certainly been a help for me, encouraging me to really look at what's around me. Spring will never be on lockdown! Rhododendron flowers Tussilago farfara  (coltsfoot) Prunus spinosa (blackthorn) blossom Ficaria verna  (lesser celandine) Prunus (cherry) blossom Good old Taraxacum (dandelion). These are one of my favourite flowers.  Tired carder bee ( Bombus pascuorum) on a  Bellis perennis  (daisy) Pores on the underside of  a big bracket fungus All rights reserved
