I thought I would spread a litttle educational entertainment by attaching labels to a few plants in the local woodland. Hopefully they will bring a smile to someone and maybe teach them a couple of plant names, too.

Aegopodium podograria - ground elder

Alliaria petiolata - garlic mustard

Urtica dioica - stinging netttle

Fagus sylvatica - beech

Ribes sanguineum - flowering currant

Acer pseudoplatanus - sycamore

Crataegus monogyna - hawthorn

Ilex aquifolium - holly
